Hello Breakthrough Crew!
After a little more than one year, I’m so excited to get back together, June 15-18 in Sundance, UT! We have a GREAT week in store for everyone, including two unique outdoor experiences, and a speaker schedule that is second to none. Following is important information regarding Sundance. Due to the nature of our experiences, the schedule is subject to small changes. Please let me know if you have any questions leading up to the event. I look forward to seeing you in Sundance!
SCHEDULE & ITINERARY
JUNE 15-18, 2021
JUNE 15: KICKOFF DINNER (TUESDAY NIGHT @ BASECAMP)
6:30PM-7:00PM: Registration opens and guests begin to arrive.
7:00PM-8:30PM: Opening dinner. Participants will be coming in at various times on Tuesday based on travel. Dinner will be fun and casual.
8:30PM-10:00PM: Welcome! Mastermind and keynote speaker.
JUNE 16: DAY 1 (WEDNESDAY @ BASECAMP): EXPERIENCE 1
8:30AM-10:30AM: Breakfast and mastermind.
10:30AM-12.30PM: Small group exercises, mastermind.
12:30PM-2:30PM: Lunch and mastermind.
2:30PM-5:00PM: Outdoor Experience #1.
7:00PM-10:00PM: Dinner, speaker, mastermind.
JUNE 17: DAY 2 (THURSDAY @ BASECAMP): EXPERIENCE 2
8:30AM-10:30AM: Breakfast and mastermind.
10:30AM-12.30PM: Small group exercises, mastermind.
12:30PM-2:30PM: Lunch and mastermind.
2:30PM-5:00PM: Outdoor Experience #1.
7:00PM-10:00PM: Dinner, speaker, mastermind.
JUNE 18: DAY 3 (FRIDAY @ BASECAMP): CLOSING BREAKFAST
8:30AM-9:30AM: Breakfast.
8:30AM-10:30AM: Mastermind and keynote speaker.
BASECAMP ADDRESS
Our event “Basecamp” is the place we will call home for the week. It may be the largest cabin on the hill at Sundance. It is on the same property as the Sundance Resort, where most of you will be staying.
The most common request I received from participants for this event was to give people as much time as possible to connect. As a result, I’ve chosen outdoor experiences for us located on property to significantly reduce travel time. Because of the close proximity to our events and where participants are staying, we will not have shuttle service. The Sundance Resort does have its own shuttle to take people throughout the property.
- WHAT TO WEAR
I recommend “business casual”, with an emphasis on “casual”. I want you to be comfortable and relaxed. Most people wear jeans and a polo or button down or blouse to the event. For our outdoor activities, have fun and dress the way you would going out in the mountains. Please bring comfortable walking shoes.
- FOR ANYONE TRAVELING OUT OF TOWN FRIDAY
We recommend checking out of your hotel Sun morning and leaving your things at Basecamp. Several people have asked to share rides / Uber back to Salt Lake City airport. We can help you coordinate.
- CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE
One thing we have been able to maintain throughout our Breakthrough Experiences, is unprecedented access. This means, from time to time, we require that you do not take any pictures or video. Examples would include things like 1) Not being able to photograph the NY Yankees GM’s private war room, or 2) The NAVY SEALs Buds Training Center or Global Head of The NAVY Seals. In our Sundance Experience, we will make the same request from time to time. We take this very seriously. Break confidentiality once, and we will have to ask you to leave.

Event Location
The Sundance Resort is located 13 miles northeast of Provo, Utah. The resort, owned by Robert Redford and home of the Sundance Film Festival, spans over 5,000 acres on the slopes of Mount Timpanogos in Utah’s Wasatch Range. While Sundance is known for its prized skiing, it is also recognized for its incredible summer beauty and outdoor activities.

*Important Note: Like previous events, we’ll be serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Please note, Sundance is an isolated part of the mountains. While there are restaurants and a snack shop on site, these close early. The closest store is approximately 20-25 minutes away. If you get “late night munchies”, I suggest stopping at a store in Orem, UT, near the base of the mountain, and bringing up additional snacks for your room.
